I began painting in 1972, and continued painting as a hobby until 1992, when I decided to quit my job and move to the visual arts and make it as my professional career.
At the time, I was in Miami Florida and working in a bank. I had a bachelor of Business Management, had become a Certified Internal Auditor in the USA, and had twenty years of working experience mostly in accounting and auditing. In 1993 I moved to Australia, studied Visual Arts, at the University of South Australia.
From 1993, until 2014, I was active in producing artworks and exhibiting in commercial and public art galleries in Australia, China, Iran, Germany and Taiwan. And now, due to so many incidents and changes during the last few years, I have come to the conclusion that selling my artwork online and communicating directly with those who like, and hopefully love, my artwork would best suit my sensibility. I have received numerous art grants from Art SA and Australian Council. I have won a few major art prizes, and several times have been shortlisted for major art competitions. I have had a few wonderful art galleries, such as Elders Fine Arts, Adele Boag Gallery, Nexus Arts Gallery, Gallery 139, Andrew Hills Art Gallery, and Dickerson Art Gallery, that have had showcased my artwork, and I am grateful for their trusting in my work and exposing it to the public, which has helped me, especially during my few earlier years in building my professional career as an artist.
